Some old, failing render brought back to life.

Spray cork render has been very popular for us this year. It is the ideal product to use if your old render is starting to fail, but you don't want to go the the expense of completely stripping the old render off.

It typically costs around 40-50% less than the alternative options as well as having lots of advantages over other systems.

Spray cork is

✅ Extremely lightweight (light enough to be applied directly over old failing render without having an impact on its structural integrity).

✅ Ultimate flexability (being over 90% raw cork this render is the most flexible option out there, ideal for going over cracks).

✅ Insulating (spray cork is a fantastic insulator, cutting down heat loss through walls by around 30%).

Quick freshen up to a Hall, Stairs and Landing.

A nice transformation to this unused space. What was once a cold room with bare brick walls and concrete ceiling is now a cosy utility with a separate toilet.

We applied spray cork to the external walls for its insulating properties, then battened and boarded the internal walls and ceiling. A stud wall was formed to make the most of the space and create a separate w/c.

Finally, we then plastered it all out ready for decoration.

As usual I forgot to take before pics 🤦
