At iMDD we’re used to turning drawings into steel, but these coaches and trainers are shaping something far more impressive — a whole squad of young players finding their confidence, their grit, and their love for the game.

As a parent with a lad on the team, I see exactly how much time, patience, and skill they put in. All of us on the sidelines know the effort that goes in, and we appreciate it more than they probably realise.

It’s an honour for iMDD to sponsor the team this season. The coaches are helping these kids grow into capable, confident players — we’re just proud to support the journey.

Been a bit quiet on here lately — that’s what happens when you run a business solo. Social media gets ignored while the real graft gets done.
I drop in to see the fabrication teams — the legends who turn my drawings into actual steel. Every client works differently, and I enjoy adapting — from a tiny paperweight to something Tony Stark would proudly park his Hot Wheels collection in.
From fabrication to er****on — mouse click to final bolt — I handle the lot. Foundation plans, GA drawings, bolt lists, flashing, cladding, MPs… the list goes on. All tailored to make life easier on‑site, with clear, accurate info that fits each team’s workflow.
Every client gets the same attention. Even the paperweights.
Fun fact: UK steel is recycled at around 95%… which is probably why it keeps recognising me when I walk in.

Exciting progress last week with a new local business preparing to launch in Leominster.
I was invited to visit the property, carry out the necessary site measuring, and produce detailed drawings to support their planning application. Thanks to clear communication and a proactive client, the drawings were swiftly completed and submitted to the relevant councils.

With planning hurdles now behind them, they’re free to crack on with the hands-on renovation work.

Looking forward to seeing this one take shape—it’s going to be a great addition to the town.

Holy Trinity Church, Bath — Gather Round Project

As part of the Gather Round workspace development inside Bath’s Holy Trinity Church, I was responsible for producing detailed internal layouts — from initial site surveys to final drawing output. This included modelling all structural and architectural components with precision, such as hot- and cold-rolled steelwork, floor boarding systems, and associated fixings.

The staircase and balustrade were fully custom-designed and detailed by me, tailored specifically to suit the spatial and functional requirements of the reconfigured interior. These elements were particularly rewarding to develop, requiring accurate calculations, layout testing, and integration with multiple levels and junctions across the plan.

Throughout the process, I maintained a strong focus on dimensional accuracy, buildability, and coordination across every element. The project presented a range of challenges that called for practical problem-solving and disciplined attention to detail — resulting in a cohesive and technically sound design ready for implementation.
