Great to be back on site this week and see one of our projects progressing so well.

From the early design conversations through to planning approval and technical design, a huge amount of work goes into every project before construction even begins. That's why it's always exciting to see it all coming together on site.

Throughout the build, we continue to support our clients and contractors with regular site visits, helping to answer questions, provide guidance and ensure the project stays on track.

Silver Birch:

Silver Birch was sensitively designed to sit within its conservation area setting — responding carefully to the form, scale and character of neighbouring buildings while still achieving the client’s contemporary vision.

The palette of timber, brick and metal allows the home to feel calm and grounded within the landscape, while generous glazing and open internal spaces bring light and connection into everyday living. We love how the project balances modern architectural detailing with a softer, more natural warmth.

Every successful project starts with understanding the site.

Our Site Assessment Service Plus Package is designed to give you clarity at the earliest stages of a project — helping uncover opportunities, constraints and practical considerations before major decisions are made. From planning context and site potential to design direction and development advice, we provide thoughtful, informed guidance that helps clients move forward with confidence.

A careful first step towards a well-considered project.

Restoring historic structures requires more than careful design — it demands a deep understanding of how buildings were originally crafted.

At Broadfield Court, the restoration of the timber roof trusses called for a considered approach that balanced structural integrity with respect for the building's history and character. Every connection, reinforcement and intervention was carefully detailed to preserve the beauty and craftsmanship of the original structure while ensuring it performs for generations to come.

Penn Grove:

At Penn Grove, every material and detail was chosen to create balance — between modern architecture and a softer, more lived-in atmosphere.

From the natural palette externally to the bold moments of colour within, this home was designed to feel both expressive and welcoming.
Thoughtful architecture, shaped around everyday living.

Dorstone:

This is a project built around a traditional Herefordshire stone barn - a beautiful, characterful building. A new link building connects the original barn to a contemporary extension; materials are sympathetic to the vernacular; generous glazing floods the home with light.

New architecture should enhance what is already there. We worked with to bring our design to life.

Great to see progress on one of our projects this week in South Herefordshire. Picture windows flood the space with natural light, while the open-plan living and kitchen area creates the perfect setting for entertaining — all framed by beautiful far-reaching views across the countryside.

South Lea:

Our clients purchased this home with the view to extend to create their perfect family home. Through a series of explorations, we were able to consider the possibilities of alterations in the existing house to open the floor plan up to create a family kitchen and dining space. A recessed, flat roof link structure provides a new light-filled entrance at the ground floor level with a first-floor bridge.

The structure creates an interesting feature of the transition between old and new, guiding you through to the contemporary two storey extension housing an additional bedroom and play room, with large picture windows capturing the rural Herefordshire vista.
