We are delighted to share these photos of a recently completed project in Greatham! We really enjoyed this project, and worked closely with our clients every step of the way to achieve the finished look they desired.

We started this job with the structural alterations, and although there were only two steels to be installed, they were far from simple. Due to the age of the property, this required us to carry out under-pinning on the foundations before we could proceed. The space that they opened up however, was more than worth the effort. Once we had done the structural works, we were able to focus on the aesthetics of their home. The first stage of this included revealing, and subsequently cleaning and rebuilding a brick fireplace that had previously been plastered over, to create a unique feature in their living room. We then installed fresh screed to the downstairs rooms, to create one continuous floor level across the property.

With the shell complete downstairs, we then moved upstairs, where we had a similar job; Ripping out old fitted wardrobes, blocking up unwanted fireplaces and adjusting the floor levels to allow for continuous flooring. The major works upstairs were a new bathroom, and a bespoke handrail and landing at top of the stairs.

With the major works and shell complete, we were then able to move on to plastering where necessary and fitting new flooring throughout the entire house. The job was finished with painting and decorating completed by Queens Decorating , and the electrics were once again completed by Ecosparks

We are very happy with the finished result, and hope that our client enjoys their home for many years to come!

We are very pleased to share these photos of recent renovation completed in Haslemere. We started the design process with the client over a year ago, with the aim to create a more spacious living and dining area for them and their family to enjoy.

The first stage of the job was removing a chimney from through-out the house, and making good the damages caused. We then cut a new door into an existing wall, and put up a temporary stud partition that allowed the client to live in a dust free zone while we worked. This stud partition was later partially removed, and fitted with a glass wall to allow light to flow from the front of the house right the way to the rear.

The next stage of the job was bringing both rooms to the same level. On this job, that required us to remove the floors, and remove a LOT of waste and rubble from under the living room, as the floor levels varied by nearly a meter. Once this was done and we were working on a safe, level ground, we were able to start the structural altercations. We installed a new structural steel, and removed the existing wall and stairs from underneath. This allowed us to then get started on the plumbing for the new kitchen, and concreting & screeding the new floors. Once this was done, the team at Ecosparks then came in to wire the electrics, ready for the new appliances and kitchen. Anthony Price Plastering then came in to work his magic, leaving a completed shell for our team to come back in and fit the kitchen, and all the finishing touches. The client decided to paint this job himself, and so this is where we departed.

We thoroughly enjoyed both planning and carrying out this job, and hope that the client and their family enjoy their new space for many years to come.

A chimney removal from a property in Fernhurst. Like every job, this one came with its own set of unique complications to overcome, such as bats living in the roof, limited head height on the doors and staircases, and many different floor levels to work to. During the removal of chimney, we uncovered and rebuilt an original stone wall.
This property now benefits from a much larger kitchen/dining area, and more space in two of the upstairs rooms.

Before the New Year we installed Bifold doors to a property in Headley Down. We returned this month to do a knock-through of 3 rooms into 1, and a full renovation of the space. This included screeding, flooring, new kitchen, new windows, plastering and painting. Electrics completed by Ecosparks 👍🏽

A couple of photos from a full house renovation we've been working on over the last few weeks.
The first stage of work was focused on the structural elements, propping up the house to allow us to knock down the existing living room walls and install a steel. This gave them a much bigger, open-plan living area.

The fireplace on the left had previously been blocked up and plastered over (The one on the right was worked on by the last home owner), and our client agreed that it was a real shame to have lost such a feature, and so we went about restoring it. This required us to clean down the bricks, and then re-build where necessary. We added limestone slabs to join the two fireplaces with one continuous hearth, creating this lovely feature piece in the centre of the living room.

We have plenty more work to do on this property, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!

Another job completed yesterday in the run up to Christmas. For this particular client, we were tasked with repairing the original porch/canopy, as it had previously been built without any waterproofing materials (Lead and Felt), and was pulling away from the building due to inadequate fixings.

The second part of the job was transforming the parapet wall over the garage that had become an eyesore. We decided on reducing the height of the parapet wall, and adding the same canopy style porch. We finished the reduced parapet with pre-cast Coping stones, and added new guttering to the canopy's.

A patio completed last week in Fernhurst. The customer had an existing block paver patio that got too slippery in the wet and had become a hazard, and so wanted it replaced with a sandstone patio.

Forgot to take photos of the original block paving and the new Type 1, but here’s some photos of the slabs going down.
