We are very pleased to share these photos of recent renovation completed in Haslemere. We started the design process with the client over a year ago, with the aim to create a more spacious living and dining area for them and their family to enjoy.
The first stage of the job was removing a chimney from through-out the house, and making good the damages caused. We then cut a new door into an existing wall, and put up a temporary stud partition that allowed the client to live in a dust free zone while we worked. This stud partition was later partially removed, and fitted with a glass wall to allow light to flow from the front of the house right the way to the rear.
The next stage of the job was bringing both rooms to the same level. On this job, that required us to remove the floors, and remove a LOT of waste and rubble from under the living room, as the floor levels varied by nearly a meter. Once this was done and we were working on a safe, level ground, we were able to start the structural altercations. We installed a new structural steel, and removed the existing wall and stairs from underneath. This allowed us to then get started on the plumbing for the new kitchen, and concreting & screeding the new floors. Once this was done, the team at Ecosparks then came in to wire the electrics, ready for the new appliances and kitchen. Anthony Price Plastering then came in to work his magic, leaving a completed shell for our team to come back in and fit the kitchen, and all the finishing touches. The client decided to paint this job himself, and so this is where we departed.
We thoroughly enjoyed both planning and carrying out this job, and hope that the client and their family enjoy their new space for many years to come.
