Over the last few weeks we’ve been collecting food items in our Hitchin office to donate to Feed Up Warm Up, a fantastic local charity who support homeless people and those at risk of homelessness in Hertfordshire. Last night, Jack and Leo dropped off our donations at the Hitchin hub, ready to be handed out in the run up to Christmas.

We are delighted to continue our support of the Bloomsbury Festival for a second year as Local Business Supporter.

The 2025 Bloomsbury Festival runs from Friday 17th - Sunday 19th October, with a busy weekend of exhibitions, performances, music, walks, talks and family events, many of which are free to attend!

Artists will be exploring this year’s theme “The Paths We Tread” with their own interpretations of heritage and culture.

Just one month to go until the North Herts Festival!

Celebrating it’s 10 year anniversary, the festival will be packed with live music, sports tournaments and street food vendors.

We’re proud to be sponsoring this not-for-profit event, with all money raised going back into local communities and charities.

On Tuesday, Stu, Steve, James, Stephan and Alice spent the afternoon volunteering at Soup Kitchen London, as part of their Street Outreach initiative. After making sandwiches and packing food parcels, the team were taken on a 3 mile walk around Central London, visiting known areas where homeless and vulnerable people reside, distributing the food parcels and engaging with the individuals.

It was an incredibly eye-opening experience to speak to those living on the streets and to hear the challenges they face, which gave the team a greater understanding of the issues affecting rough sleepers in the capital.

We had a great time returning to Church Farm, Ardeley yesterday for a volunteering day. The sun was shining as we carried out seasonal activities such as harvesting fruit, weeding, planting and strimming, along with maintenance tasks including building a ‘rabbit road’ and boarding the ceiling of a toilet block.

It’s always a pleasure to help out at Church Farm, who do so much through their Rural Care programme by providing training and work experience opportunities for people with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.

Alongside being a working farm, there is a pub, café, farm shop and play area so please do visit if you’re in the area!

We had a great time participating in the 5 a side football tournament hosted by Ashe Group on Friday, and were runners up in the final of the Plate! ⚽🥈

The tournament raised over £6000 for Happy Days Children's Charity, who like us have their Head Office in Hitchin. Happy Days work with communities throughout the UK providing funding for respite holidays, trips, and experiences for those who support children with additional needs.

There were some very tired legs over the weekend but we look forward to returning next year!

A community is a group of people brought together through something they share in common – this can be at work, through their faith, a hobby group or fan club. Being part of a community can provide a sense of belonging, support and give us purpose, which is vital for our mental health and wellbeing.

We're excited to be playing in the Ashe 5-a-side football tournament tomorrow; the boots are being dusted off and tactics discussed! ⚽️

Countdown to Kickoff! ⚽

Our 5-a-side football tournament is back, this Friday, supporting the incredible work of Happy Days Children's Charity . Over the last two years, we raised a fantastic £17,000 for this great charity!

We had a blast last year and we’re certain it’ll be the same this time, just with more goals, questionable tactics, and dodgy defending!

We are looking forward to seeing the teams there: Randstad UK , Pagabo, BCAL Consulting, Barker Associates , Mason Navarro Pledge , Harris Electrical, Integral Electrical Solutions, Saunders Boston Architects, TAG Site Services, GRJ Contracting and Brith Services.

Earlier this month Stuart Pledge led a team at the latest Get Holed golf event at Chesfields Downs. Get Holed brings a fresh, informal approach to golf days whilst raising money for charity so we’ve been delighted to sponsor the events since they began last year. The chosen charities for the latest event were Make A Wish and Throat Cancer Foundation. A fantastic day in the sun was had, topped off with a win for the MNP team!
