We’re passionate about many things at Lynton, but especially science. In 1994 a team of leading experts from the Physics Department at The University of Manchester set up ‘Lynton Lasers Ltd’ to commercialise a project they had been working on – one of the world’s first tattoo removal lasers! This spirit of innovation went on to generate numerous awards for research and development, leading to the

launch of one of the first IPL Systems. From the very beginning our reputation for providing superior equipment was evident. As a major supplier and manufacturer of medical devices, we continue to develop high quality products providing outstanding and consistent clinical results.

20 years later, we have an extensive range of high-quality systems that offer a diverse and comprehensive array of treatments, ranging from multi-coloured tattoo removal to body shaping and facial skin tightening. All Lynton systems are designed and manufactured to accommodate users from a range of different backgrounds, but ultimately to perform safe and effective treatments that deliver a fast ROI to our customers. As we’ve evolved over the years we’ve helped support and build hundreds of medical and aesthetic practices worldwide and have developed an extensive range of unrivalled after-sales support services that have firmly positioned Lynton as ‘best in class’. This includes our own dedicated training centre and clinic in Cheadle, South Manchester. Opening its doors back in 2008, ‘The Lynton Clinic’ provided the perfect platform for demonstrating the clinical and commercial benefits of our own product range. This also assists the development of our clinical and customer support services, allowing us to give something back to our ever-growing customer base. One of Lynton’s core beliefs is simple :- training is essential prior to performing any laser treatments! We are dedicated to providing all customers with thorough, in-depth training on the key fundamentals of laser safety, from both a theoretical and practical perspective. Regular customer workshops and training courses developed in collaboration with the University of Manchester, CIBTAC and the BMLA have resulted in excellent educational content, meeting the needs and requirements of delegates from various backgrounds. All of this expertise and experience guarantees that you can depend on our professionalism, integrity and reliability. From Lynton you will receive exceptional value in both our products and support services, allowing you to deliver superior clinical results for your clients in a successful and thriving practice. The best way to gain a real understanding of who we are and what our systems provide is to speak to our committed team of experts, who can advise you on every aspect of your business. 💥 Lynton isn’t all aesthetics

Originating from the University of Manchester, Lynton is a British manufacturer of conservation, surgical and aesthetic lasers. After developing laser systems for aesthetic applications in the early 1990s, a collaboration with conservators at the Conservation Centre, National Museums Liverpool, led to the UK’s first commercially available laser cleaning system for conservation.

Pictured here are the Prisoner Figures from Liverpool’s Nelson Monument. Designed by Matthew Cotes Wyatt, sculpted by Richard Westmacott and unveiled in 1813, the Grade II listed monument was Liverpool’s first major public sculpture, commemorating Admiral Nelson as a national hero.

Ahead of the bicentenary of Nelson’s death in 2005, the monument underwent conservation by specialist sculpture conservators at the Conservation Centre, National Museums Liverpool. Using a Lynton Phoenix laser cleaning system, unwanted corrosion layers were carefully removed from the bronze surface, revealing details while preserving the integrity of the historic material.

Today, Lynton Conservation systems are trusted in over 25 countries, helping museums, universities, heritage organisations and conservation professionals preserve cultural heritage worldwide.

At Lynton, we believe in supporting the communities around us. We were delighted to donate our illumifacial skinkits as prizes for the end-of-season presentation evening at Oldham Hockey Club, helping to raise funds and celebrate the achievements of its players.

Oldham Hockey Club runs three ladies’ teams competing in the North West leagues, alongside a thriving junior section developing the next generation of players across Greater Manchester. A big thank you to everyone involved in making the event a success.
