Ridgegear RGA3 Fall Arrest Block

The Ridgegear RGA3 Fall Arrest Block is robust and the “big brother” of the Ridgegear RGA2 Fall Arrest Block. With its longer working length and heavier construction, the RGA3 has been used successfully by the offshore industry for years.

The carrying handle of the RGA3 is part of the cast alloy housing and can be connected to the anchorage point using soft slings or a karabiner. The RGA3 is suitable for use in most industries to provide protection in work areas with overhead anchorage points. The RGA3 has a working length of 15 metres.

The RGL32 can be used as an anchor sling to create an anchor point where a scaffold hook cannot be attached or as a mountaineering sling. Also ideal for attaching rescue equipment and secondary backup systems.

The RGL33 can be used to bridge the gap between a casualty and a rescuer. If used with a rope grab (without extending its length), it ensures the user is distanced from the rope during work.

Both can withstand repeated use and are available in various sizes identified by colour-coded stitching.
