Before and after pictures a house we re felted / battened and re tiled this week. Whilst up there, the customer asked if we could remove the redundant chimney at the same time, it now looks much better.

If your house was built in the 50s, 60s or 70s it may be worth having it checked as that’s about the maximum life span you’ll get from the original roof. My customer noticed black damp spores in the ceiling, which is a sign of water ingress.
