​From the sparks in the fab shop to the precision of the design office, these five are the engine room of our future. They aren't just learning how to build industrial fans; they’re mastering the craft of British engineering. 🇬🇧

​Rowan (Fabrication) – Rowan is mastering the art of high-spec fabrication, ensuring our fan casings are built to last. 👨‍🏭

​Hayden (Electrical/Fitting) – Hayden bridges the gap between power and assembly, keeping our systems wired for success. ⚡

​Alex (Fitting) – Alex’s precision ensures that every component fits perfectly for maximum airflow and efficiency. 🔧

Christmas is approaching,🎄 and the team is working incredibly hard to make sure all lead times are met within this short month! 💪

And just like that, November is done at Woodcock & Wilson! 💨
​It's always a busy rush to the end of the month, but the team absolutely smashed it. We're already gearing up for a productive December!

​Here you can see Ash offloading some vital motors for upcoming projects, and Andy focused on welding complex duplex impellers—a critical component for a project due out early next month.

​We have our most experienced painter, Chris, expertly handling this BFN 520 unit.

It’s being finished in the classic Goose Wing Grey for an order that needs to be out the door by the end of the month!
​Chris's experience truly shines—he’s done a beautiful job, and this unit will be ready to fit in just a few hours once the paint has dried.🌟

Kicking off the weekend the only way we know how—BUSY! 🚀

Our laser cutter is running full tilt this Friday morning, slicing up components that are heading straight into our prep department. Over in the workshop, you can spot James already starting the fabrication process for a batch of our popular Exstream range fans.

✨ Maintenance Magic! ✨

​As part of our essential maintenance schedule, our F.J. Edwards powered swager was due for some much-needed TLC, and the team absolutely delivered! 🙌

​We gave this workhorse the care it deserves, installing some key components so it runs like it's brand new:

​New Gearbox ⚙️
​New Motor ⚡
​New Belts and Pulleys 🎛️
​Plus, a fresh lick of paint and it looks as good as new!

Seriously great job, guys—it looks fantastic and is ready for many more years of service! 👌

Apprentices in action this morning! 🛠️ It's fantastic to see the team progressing so well here at Woodcock & Wilson.

Check out the impressive work:

Rowan is skillfully welding stock flanges for our popular BCW550 fans. Precision is key!

Alex and Hayden are putting the finishing touches on a batch of 500 SCA fans, fitting the safety guards and getting them ready for despatch by the end of the week.

Keep up the great work, guys! We're proud to support the next generation of engineering talent.
