The final prep phase is complete, and the doors are officially open for the world’s first B2B combat robotics tournament at Smart Manufacturing Week. Our technical team has spent the last 48 hours assembling a custom-built arena designed to contain 100G impacts and showcase precision engineering under extreme pressure. ⚙️🤖

Ellis just unboxed the custom weapon assemblies for our two challengers: Beckhoff Automation and Huddersfield Town

Both of these spinning weapons are machined from Hardox steel. Whether it’s Beckhoff's low-profile undercutter blade or the massive rotating shell for Huddersfield Town, these weapons are engineered to deliver massive kinetic force without shattering under pressure. 💥

Their robot, LabmAnaconda is sporting a striking grey and blue finish and brings a highly dangerous dual-mechanism weapon system to the arena! A flipper integrated with a heavy-duty grabber, easily identified by its distinctive twin fangs. 🐍

Patrick is breaking down the most common screws holding the fighting robots for FightFest and why they are picked for the job. 🔩🤖

Cap Heads: The most common screw we sell and we have thousands of them. Use them in everything from drivetrain to the panel work.
Button Heads: Low profile, rounded design. Perfect for the underside of the robot, where things can get caught.
Shoulder Screws: These are fantastic for all for the bigger parts like wheels.

Please welcome our latest robot challenger: Huddersfield Town ⚽🤖

Branded in the club's iconic blue and white stripes, The Terrier Twister brings a highly tactical and relatively rare engineering design to FightFest.

Unlike our other combatants, this robot is a full-body shell spinner. The entire external chassis rotates at immense velocity, acting simultaneously as a kinetic weapon and a defensive shield. And it just happens to look like a football too!
