Thank you to Holywell-cum-Needingworth WI for our wonderful September Foyer Display!
The theme of the table is to celebrate their 105 years looking back but also enjoying not only their monthly meetings, but also the active groups within their WI. They have raised a substantial amount for charity and support local groups , the Knit and (K)natter support the prem babies, making fishermen snoods and dementia friendly items .
Holywell-cum-Needingworth WI are also about fun and joy, the lunch club meets monthly not only providing a welcome opportunity for a meal together but also chat and company. There are many other activities within their WI ,scrabble, book sales etc and this year they will host the village Christmas bazaar. Like many groups we face outside pressures , rising costs and time pressures but thankfully they are growing and hopefully thriving providing a space for women in their community.
What a fantastic achievement and a wonderful way to celebrate your WI!
