Sellar Engineering are looking for a SEMI-SKILLED LABOURER to join our team, based in Huntly, Aberdeenshire

We specialise in a mix of light fabrication of mild steel sections and plates, and sheet metal machine work (folding, rolling, profiling).

Role and responsibilities
• Drilling and dressing of plates and sections.
• Engage in various projects within the industry, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Tidying workshop
• Carrying out deliveries – driving licence required
• Committed to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Flexible enough to learn new skills and perform other tasks, when required.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and promote a safe working environment.
• Be able to work well within in a team.

A good attitude to timekeeping and attendance is essential.

Position Details
Type: Full-time, permanent
• Pay: dependent on experience
• Working Hours: 45hr week
o Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm
o Friday: 8am - 4pm
o Overtime opportunities available and paid at 1.5 rate.

We specialise in a mix of light fabrication of mild steel sections and plates, and sheet metal machine work (folding, rolling, profiling). Experience in these would be an advantage.

Role and responsibilities
• Fabricate and weld mild steel hollow section frameworks and materials with gauges ranging from 1.5mm to 12mm.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and jigs.
• Engage in various projects within the industry, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Committed to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Flexible enough to learn new skills and perform other tasks, when required.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and promote a safe working environment.
• Be able to work well within in a team.

Here is our latest front hopper set up at the Royal Northern Spring Show 2024 on the Sellars Agriculture Ltd. Stand.

These latest 2024 models have received some major upgrades on our previous hoppers. Thanks to our skilled team we have been able to fabricate all corrosion prone components from 300 series stainless steel.
