Phase 1 done on this big project. Usually I work my way back to the plantroom. However on this project the client is living in the property throughout a 18month renovation. This means I need to maintain heat and hot water. Over the period of time. I will need to break into different aspects of the existing system at different times. Completing one side of this house first then moving into the other whilst keeping both sides of the house alive 🤪. These are the sort of jobs where you can come unstuck on your pricing. The extra days turn into weeks and before you know it you’re out of pocket. I’ve learned the hard way with this in the past. Buy the only way we learn is through experience and sometimes failure. If you don’t learn and grow from the failure and become better then you’re approaching this game wrong. Theres reasons behind this system design I will explain more in posts surrounding this job down the line.

I didn’t manage to get any real good content on this one just a few photos. We lined the back of this area cause it will have a cupboard built around it eventually. I opted for a pre plumbed cylinder on this one to minimize space requirements within the new cupboard. It’s the second time working with this cylinder and I must say it’s a nice bit of kit. I completely under estimated the amount of copper needed for the runs to the boiler area and it ended up costing me. But the customers happy and that’s the main thing.

Some pictures from the latest job completed in Leytonstone. I wish I took better progress pics sometimes but I’ve got so many big projects spinning at the moment it’s hard to keep track. This client came from instagram. And the they had already first fixed the entire houses heating Circuit and radiators upstairs. We got called in to do the underfloor heating the boiler room and the wiring. We was here a total of 4 days (plus half a day to repair a leak behind the cylinder 😂) I’m really enjoying underfloor projects at the moment. If your used to running rad pipes it’s a nice change. I’m always looking to impove and the one thing I would like to do that on is my cable management. I need to research into a system that would work best for me so it matches the rest of my work. Because the customer has already run the pipework they wasn’t prepared to run a hot return or split the colds up between softened water and drinking water. However they wanted there home to be protected. An was the perfect solution. It reduces the limescale dramatically on the mains water therefore allowing you to combine it with the water being supplied to your entire home. Plus you don’t have the upkeep of replacing salts every week. We both Knw they are completely different products but if you don’t have the space or the ability to split the pipework this is a great solution. This house was supplied by the aquabion s20

Pics of the kitchen job. This is the same house of the bathroom job I done recently. This has eaten into my time massively. To the point I’m back logged with a lot of boiler work. 😂😂 I’m going to try be more present on here with the content. I’ve had a bit of time away and it’s good to do sometimes to remember why we are actually getting up and going to work. Money family friends living life. Etc etc all of these should take priority over these kind of platforms. If they don’t and all those things are coming second to this… take some time and reevaluate your priority’s. You will feel better for it. 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼

This is a before and after video.
I inherited this job from a worried customer as the builder onsite had “he’s plumber” do the boiler room. No expansion no pressure relief on a sealed System gas main laying on here floor floor inside the property the list is endless. I put together and plan and executed this job in 4.5 days. Half a day stripping out. One day prepping and 3 days plumbing. I still need to wire the systems permanently but just thought I’d show you phase 1 of this overhaul 95% complete 😘

I wanted to upload this to my page.. again to the normal person this is nothing. But when you go above and beyond and think outside the box it’s these tiny little wins you like the most. Where others will make do I will always try to do my best. That’s why I’ve never advertised and never had to my reputation and work ethic speaks for itself. Whenever you do anything people ask yourself one question “would I want it like that in my house?” If the answers no then do it properly. If the answers yes but there’s not enough money on the job.. then your selling yourself short.
