With the recent inclement weather and anyone working under an NEC Form of Contract it would be worthwhile checking your entitlement to weather claims.

Weather risk normally sits with the Contractor, however, exceptional weather is an Employer risk that may trigger a Compensation event for both time and money.

It would be worth checking your Contract conditions, check weather station records and assess if the weather experienced recently exceeds the 10 year mean. If it does, then get your Early Warning drafted and submitted ready to follow up with a Compensation Event.
