CM Environmental has officially launched our YouTube channel, and our very first video is now live.

In this step-by-step guide, we show how to replace a compressor in a sewage treatment plant — covering safe isolation, removal, installation, and getting the system back up and running efficiently.

Our goal is to share real industry knowledge, showcase our work, and provide helpful insight into sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.

✨ Sewage System Revival | CM Environmental ✨

The CM team was recently approached by Uniper Energy to bring three failing pumping stations and sewage treatment plants back to full operation. We accepted the challenge—designing and installing complete replacement systems to restore reliability and performance.

Uniper had been facing tanker costs of ÂŁ80k per year and needed a solution that avoided expensive civil works. Working under strict Health & Safety and permitting requirements, our confined space mechanical and engineering teams fully stripped out the old equipment and installed new, efficient components.

âś… The result?
A fully operational system, significantly reduced ongoing running costs, and a very happy client.

We’re proud to share that we’ve now been awarded the ongoing maintenance contract as well.
