Yesterday’s Budget brought some good news for drivers across the UK, with fuel duty frozen until 1 July 2027.
The temporary 5p-per-litre cut stays in place, avoiding planned increases of 3p in January and another 2p in March.
That keeps petrol and diesel duty at 52.95p per litre. It doesn’t freeze prices at the pump, but it does avoid an extra tax increase each time you fill up.
