This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-profile project, working within a well-organised team with a strong focus on safety, quality, and delivery.

As Global Energy Solutions, we will continue supporting the oil and gas sector while increasing our focus on green energy and playing a key role in the energy transition. This is demonstrated through the award of a series of major renewable energy infrastructure contracts.

Building on our recently awarded multi-million pound contract from Inch Cape Offshore for the delivery of foundation completion activities on its 1.1 gigawatt offshore wind farm off the Angus coast, our largest individual contract to date, we’ve also secured multi-scope construction and installation contracts with CFHI, Dajin and CWHI, delivering work scopes through to October this year.

We’ve also been awarded a major offshore wind contract in the UK, with a five-year framework agreement with Saipem commencing this month and running through to September 2031, while internationally we’ve secured our first major hook-up project with Chantier de l’Atlantique, delivering welding and protective coating works for the offshore substation of the RWE-owned Nordseecluster offshore wind farm in Germany.

Since our founding in 2021 as Aventus Energy, we have grown from a two-person start-up into a leadership and office team of 18, supported by more than 500 colleagues working on projects worldwide.

Aventus Energy has secured a major contract from Inch Cape Offshore, bringing together expertise across the Global group to deliver foundation completion activities for the 1.1 gigawatt offshore wind farm off the Angus coast.

The contract, our largest single award to date, is being delivered at the Port of Leith in collaboration with Global Port Services, Global Crane Services and port owner Forth Ports. It will see a combined team of more than 70 personnel deployed, drawing on colleagues from our Highland headquarters alongside new recruits from the local area, creating skilled roles for the duration of the project.

The year-long scope will see our team receive and inspect the Inch Cape wind farm monopiles, transition pieces and jacket foundations as they arrive into port before executing a number of critical activities to ensure the components are ready for offshore installation and operational readiness. The contract also involves project management including planning, documentation, survey, quality and technical verification.
