Now this isn't my usual post, usually I moan about neglected boilers that are in a dangerous state 🤣

This boiler im told was fitted 12 years ago and serviced every year 🤷

If that is the case then this flue seal here has never been fitted properly since the date of installation 🙈

I am not going to sit here and make out im the best engineer in the world but this has been left in a dangerous situation and is the basics that should be checked as soon as the front cover comes off 😫

This issue has been rectified and is now safe but there is guaranteed to be loads more out there.

These are the ignition electrodes, a key component in ensuring your boiler fires up and stays lit 🔥

Luckily found and replaced on a service or this was guaranteed to be a breakdown callout at some point in the near future 🛠

Dont leave your boilers until they breakdown, look after them properly and they will run more efficient and last longer 😊

Probably sound like a bit of a stuck record on here but I cant stress enough how important it is to have your gas appliances checked 🛠

You might think oh its a brand new boiler with a 10 year warranty it will be absolutely fine 🤔

This was a gas leak found on a boilers first annual service meaning this has been leaking since it was installed last year. 😫

Luckily on this occasion the boiler was fitted in an attic and most likely has been venting out through the eeves.
