đź‘‹ Welcome to Notzky.exe!
If you’re dreaming of a career in IT but don’t know where to start, you’re in the right place.
Over the next months, I’ll be sharing practical advice, study roadmaps, career strategies, and real-world insights to help students, career-shifters, and self-taught learners break into—and thrive in—the tech industry.
đź’ˇ A quick look at my own journey:
I didn’t follow a traditional tech path. It all started in the Philippines, where I ran a small computer café. With no formal IT background, I taught myself how to format PCs, set up local networks, and troubleshoot laptops from the ground up.
In 2012, I moved to Dubai and started as an IT Technician. Through hands-on experience, certifications, and a lot of late-night studying, I worked my way up to Senior IT Engineer.
Later, I relocated to the UK on a dependent visa. I started over as an IT Freelancer, built my local network, and eventually landed my current role as an EUC (End User Computing) Analyst with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
