With it being a year since starting up I really should get abit better and uploading photos of work that’s been completed…
Here’s an extension job that was completed in Inverness.
There was an original glass “porch” that was badly leaking and not somewhere the owner enjoyed going into, it also would not have seen another winter especially given the one we had.
This was knocked down and work started. Panels were made and put up and rafters cut and installed, sarking was put on the roof before soffit and facia’s installed. A nice big velux was fitted letting in plenty of natural light. Spanish La Luz slate was then graded and installed along with leadwork to tie into the house and make waterproof.
Anthracite grey Cedral cladding finishes off the external walls and compliments the patio double door leading onto a big composite decking area which runs in line with the flooring from the inside so no stepping in and out. This spot is a real sun trap and the decking will be perfect for soaking up that summer sun (hopefully we start to see some sun)
Internally this was well insulated with kingspan and the heat was noticeable as soon as plasterboarded. On the floor is an oak LVT flooring and looks brilliant. This was also laid throughout the house after seeing how nice it was along with new internal doors. Oak floating shelves were made and fitted the whole length of the wall which also act as really nice feature.
This was a brilliant job to do and was a joy to work for a brilliant customer!
