John recently graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an MEng in Aero-Mechanical Engineering, while Arran joins us after completing his MEng in Mechanical Engineering at Heriot-Watt University.

Investing in and developing the next generation of engineers is an important part of our commitment to the future of our business and wider industry. As they begin their careers with us, John and Arran will work alongside our senior engineers and consultants, contributing to engineering design and analysis for clients and the development of innovative solutions to address our clients’ challenges and ideas.

Jaroslaw Zok joins us as a Senior Engineer and brings a wealth of experience spanning over 29 years working in the engineering industry. A chartered engineer with strong proven experience in project management and senior design engineering, Astrimar are delighted to welcome Jarek to the team👏

Lev Roberts-Haritonov, Engineering Director commented "With Jarek's proven track record as a Chartered Engineer, we are confident he will make a significant contribution towards the success of Astrimar. We are delighted to be welcoming Jarek to our growing team".

We also recently welcomed 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 to Astrimar on an engineering summer internship. Peter, joins us during his summer break and has just completed his second year of studying towards a Masters in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nottingham.

Peter will be working with our engineers gaining experience in all aspects of Astrimar's business, including engineering design, advanced engineering analysis, risk and reliability analysis and data analysis.

We look forward to coaching and supporting Peter during his time here with us at our office in Aberdeenshire.

𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 - 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

We recently pulled the full team together for our quarterly review planning meeting, followed by some team building fun and a delicious summer BBQ in the local park to round off! We also had another important occasion to mark - we welcomed three new members of staff to Astrimar Ltd. We were delighted that they could join us for our team occasion - it felt like a really good way to get to know one another. Keep an eye on our website and social channels for our latest news💻🗞️

With some of our team flying up from Cranfield, London, and Bristol for our event, we kicked off with our quarterly review and team planning meeting here at head office in Lethenty. Being together in one room allowed us to forecast, plan, and take part in some internal training.

We then enjoyed an afternoon of fun outdoors at 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲. Split into two teams, we enjoyed team grass skiing and turning up the temperature tearing around the infamous Lochter go-kart track! We finished off with drinks and a delicious sunny BBQ in the park and were delighted to be able to use Garioch Rugby Club's pavilion and facilities. The sun came out and we had the perfect evening!🌞

We had a fantastic time with some competitive fun and great food. We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Activity Centre and to Kim Jamieson at Rugby Club for their help and generous hospitality.
