Excited to share this passion project that is now nearing completion.

A self-contained studio complete with a washroom.
We really pushed the sustainability aspect of this build with locally sourced timber for the frame, sweet chestnut facia, skirting, architrave and window board sourced from a local coppice in Ipswich which came in planks and was ripped down to give a very cool live edge finish.

The inner and outer and floor insulation is all wood fibre which is a by-product of the milling industry and the outside is finished in lime render with the inside clay plaster. We even managed to reclaim a front door from Facebook marketplace!

Take a look at the pics and let us know what you think, if you are thinking of something similar get in touch and see how we can help, we cover all aspects of carpentry and building.

It's door season !!

A few photos from a couple of recently completed projects, including a rebated double door in a very old frame 😱

The solid doors are from the Holdenby range and are fantastically finished off with matt black handles and hinges to give a very elegant and stylish modern look.

This is a recently completed extension project in Kesgrave.
We knocked down the existing part of the house and added to it creating this wonderful open plan kitchen and dining area.
As you can see, its full of natural light with 4 solar velux windows and lovely big bi-fold doors all supplied and fitted by us.
It also benefits from underfloor heating throughout .
Thanks to McCormack Electrical Services Ltd for the electrics, F&S plastering, Pope Plumbing and Heating, Marshall Smith for the tiling, FLB Brickwork and HS MEDIA for the pics!
If you are looking to extend or refurb or even build something new get in contact and we would be more than happy to help you out.

This week is mental health awareness week, mental health plays a huge part in all our lives and is so important to our well being and living a happy and fulfilled life.

In recognition of this and of the invaluable work done by charities such as Mind, I will be donating 10% of all profits from the month of June to the Mind charity.

Please like and share this post and let's help raise as much money as possible.

I will post a total figure at the end of the month.
Anybody struggling with their mental health is never too late to seek help, don't struggle alone.

When you’re living with a mental health problem, or supporting someone who is, access to the right information is vital.
