M&S Contractors (EA) Ltd are proud to be working in partnership with Willmott Construction on the delivery of the new Cambridge South Police Station.

Our team are undertaking the full carpentry and joinery supply and installation package, which includes:
Roof structures
Fire door sets and ironmongery
Glazed screens
Skirtings and internal trims
Kitchens,
furniture, fittings, and equipment

Some great progress made this week on the roof over at Great Wilsey by the lads. Roofers will be starting to close in soon so we can concentrate on getting the studwork walls covered in osb & get started on the timber cladding. Plenty of timber on this project so the lads are in there element !

Pleased to show the finished works on a recently completed job for over at Bury St Edmunds, on the Athenaeum building. This is a Georgian Grade I listed building dating back to the 18th Century.

The whole floor was stripped back to expose the existing joists, the joists were then treated & insulation inserted. Due to the listing, floor joists couldn’t be touched which meant we had to deal with some difficult details during these works.

The flooring was then replaced with new Maple 65mm wide tongue & grove flooring ready for upcoming events booked in.

It was great to work on something different and get the old brains 🧠 going !

Great progress being made at one of our sites over at Bury St Edmunds.

Carrying out the Carpentry package on this new care home consisting of 80 bedrooms for new residents to occupy later this year.

This is a partly supply & labour job where we have supplied-
- Skirtings
- Architraves
- Wall panelling
- Window boards
- Handrails & backing boards
- Curtain battens

The Carpenters are doing a great job keeping ahead of the decorators ready to handover a quality job in the coming months.
