Continuous learning and technical development remain a key focus across Vantage Building Control.

The team took part in a detailed training session focused on Approved Document B and Fire Safety Compliance.

The course covered a wide range of topics including building regulations, approaches to compliance, Regulation 38, fire doors, BS9991, and fire protection systems such as alarms, sprinklers and emergency lighting.

A really engaging and informative session, thank you to David Ware from Fire Risk Consultancy Limited for delivering such a valuable course.

A great turnout at our Norfolk Breakfast CPD Event.

The session brought together discussion around key Building Control updates, including the role of the CDM Principal Designer vs BRPD, along with the practical impact of Part L changes and the Future Homes Standard.

Introducing the newest member of our Business Support team, Samantha Taylor, who joins Vantage Building Control as Technical Administrator.

Samantha brings over seven years of experience in building control administration, progressing from a local government apprenticeship to Technical Advisor.

In her role, she will support colleagues across the business in delivering compliant building control services and ensuring projects are accurately managed from application through to completion.

We are absolutely delighted to celebrate an outstanding achievement as five of our team have successfully achieved their Registered Building Inspector (RBI) class increases.

We are pleased to be announcing a series of promotions across the business 🎉

We are delighted to announce that Shaun O’Neill and Richard Gutierrez BSc have been promoted to Regional Manager.

Alongside his promotion to Regional Manager for Kent, Shaun O’Neill has also been appointed Head of Technical Training for the business. This role reflects our continued investment in technical excellence and professional development across the organisation.

As Head of Technical Training, Shaun will play a key role in supporting our team, providing structured technical training, supervision, mentoring, and consistency in our approach across regions. The role has been established to strengthen competency, share best practice, support professional development pathways, and ensure our teams are fully supported in delivering compliant, high-quality building control services.

Rich Gutierrez has been appointed Regional Manager for Essex, where he will lead and support the regional team, strengthen client relationships, and continue to drive high service standards across the region for both clients and colleagues.
