Fire Door Inspection Software

This week we are setting up our new Fire Door Inspection Software.

This system give us the ability to record:

•New installs
•Planned Inspections
•Remedial works

Under each client page a list of their properties are displayed, showing all their doors on a list & floor plan format with each door having a pinpoint on its floor plan location for easy identification.

These can then be displayed by various filters including:

•Fire Rating
•Passes
•Fails
•Risk
•Priority
•Review periods

The system will automatically send reminders to our clients when inspections are due, minimising the risk of overdue inspections.

Once inspections are complete a full report can be sent to the client providing details of any remedial works required along with associated costs.

Our QR labels can be placed on each door, registering doors to the report allowing the client to see a full history of installation, inspections & remedial works carried out at any time by the building owner, duty holder etc.

All this together supports our clients in maintaining the buildings passive fire protection system & overall compliance.

Remedial Fire Door Work

Following an FRA (Fire Risk Assessment) we attended site to swap out intumescent seals on some fire doors.
Fitting new black centre twin fin seals, these will provide the correct smoke protection required whilst also providing a more hygienic easy to clean seal compared to brush strip seal.

Photographs and record of works will be uploaded to our website on our client login section where they will be able to view and refer back to for their own record keeping.

Quick lock change this morning.
Euro profile cylinder had failed resulting in the door only being able to be locked from the inside.
Replaced with a thumb turn cylinder allowing easy means of escape in the event of a fire.
