It’s not just the larger projects that keep our team busy — we’re also happy to take on smaller jobs like this recent garden transformation in Jedburgh.

The existing turf was removed and disposed of, the ground was fully prepared, and new artificial grass was installed to create a clean, tidy and low-maintenance finish.

Another great little transformation completed by the team at G&J Groundworks Ltd.

Our team have been keeping busy at Lowood over the past few months, with great progress being made across the site. 👷‍♂️🚧

Our works have included foundation excavations and concrete works, internal drainage, solum infill and full floor slab preparation.

The floor slab works have involved shuttering to lift pits and slab edges, installation of the gas membrane, insulation and reinforcement mesh, ready for the concrete pours.

A lot of hard work has gone into the project so far, and it’s great to see everything coming together.

Another fantastic effort from everyone involved. 💪

After 10 fantastic/stressful 😅years of running Hanlon Groundworks Ltd, I'm excited to announce that, from 1st July 2026, I've joined forces with Grant and Ivor at G&J Groundworks Ltd.

This partnership has allowed us to combine our knowledge, experience and resources, doubling our workforce and giving us the opportunity to take on bigger and more exciting projects.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Hanlon Groundworks Ltd over the past decade. To our customers, suppliers, friends and family – your support has been greatly appreciated and has helped make the business what it is today.

I'm incredibly proud of everything we've achieved over the last 10 years, but I'm equally excited about this new chapter. With the experience of myself, Grant, Ivor and the rest of our fantastic team, I truly believe the future is very bright.

Proud to have Sponsored my Nephew Kai Gobby for the 2013s Season who have had a Great year Finishing 2nd in the League and lost out in a Cup Final. They Won The Camelon Juniors Foundation Tournament to Finish there last Official Matches as Ancrum.
Kai scored 15 Goals ⚽️ and helped the Team with 16 Assits 🎯
