We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable field & office based Service Manager for our York depot.
Our York depot are Agrifac service agents, and sprayer specialists covering the Yorkshire, Humber and North Lincolnshire area.
This position is both office and field based, and would suit someone passionate for engineering but looking to take the next step in their career, or a Service Manager who doesn't want to be confined to an office 100% of the time.
Duties include:
- Answering phone calls from customers, offering advice and scheduling engineers.
- Writing detailed job stories, preparing for invoicing
- Working closely with the parts team to ensure the timely ex*****on of jobs from reporting through to completion
- Providing excellent customer service, understanding our customers needs and prioritising jobs where required
The ideal candidate will:
- Be personable and build a rapport with our customer base across the Yorkshire/North Lincolnshire area we cover
- Have good knowledge of the agricultural industry and the needs of those within it
- Be able to work well under pressure during busy periods, and delegate effectively
- Have come from an agricultural engineering background; experience working with sprayers is desirable but not required
- Be competent using computer systems, and have a basic understanding of working within an Agricultural Dealership network
