Ibis Youth vs Ambleside AFC - our U11’s enjoyed another great away game yesterday in the sunshine!

They were given a great opportunity to play on the senior team’s first pitch, having the luxury of a dressing room and dugout!
Thank you Ambleside AFC for this.

The first half was a close encounter, with both teams creating good chances, with the goalkeepers having to pull off some fabulous saves, Reuben with a great presence as always.
Goals from both sides in the half, with Ibis just edging it at the end of it with goals from Austin ⚽️and Max ⚽️

Into the second half Reuben pulled off some good early saves the boys found their feet and began to play some wonderful football.

With Charlie continuously running down the wing with endless crosses for Austin and Max who worked tirelessly to get onto the end of them.
William, Oakley and Josh worked hard in the middle to keep things tight and move wide when they could.
Nice and controlled at the back with some good reading of the game from Beck, Roo and James.
With so many chances and opportunities created, the team were rewarded for their efforts with goals from Charlie ⚽️, Austin ⚽️ and Josh ⚽️

Great performance boys! 💙

Catching up with a few photos from some of the jobs I’ve been involved with over the last year or so. All aspects of building work covered.

Knock through from the back end of last year, opening up two rooms into one to create a kitchen/dining room. A few doorways blocked up and a couple of doorways made to help maximise and utilise the space inside the house. Building work and plastering done on this one. The customer also chose to install underfloor heating throughout the ground floor whilst we were on with the renovations. As well as the new kitchen going into the newly made room.

Ibis Youth u11’s vs Kendal United Rockets……a game played with great effort and spirit.
Some fantastic pieces of football from both teams and brave defending kept the sidelines entertained throughout.
Roo capped off a great first half by bagging his first goals of the season ⚽️⚽️ after some impressive solo runs from the left wing.
Onto the second half, Roo grabbed his hat-trick goal ⚽️ and Alexander, on his final appearance for Ibis, grabbed his first goal for the club ⚽️💙 some things are written in the stars 🌟
Well done to everyone!

Two chimneys rebuilt with full lead trays, new pots and all ready for pointing once the weather is more favourable. Ridges fixed to finish off the roof once all the lead work on the chimneys were finished. Working with Liam Hatfield Builder & Plasterer.

Games room/snug conversion completed in an external garage. Leaving the front portion of the original garage for storage. New uPvc door and window added to complete the works done.

A cold and grey morning to kick off the day.

Ibis u11’s vs KU Rockets u11’s……
…..a match played in great spirits, with both teams being amongst the goals.

Great defensive performances, well crafted movement going forward and lots of smiles on the pitch.

Austin ⚽️⚽️⚽️, Jay ⚽️⚽️ and Max ⚽️ amongst the goals for Ibis 💙

Nameplate at home all finished up on the front wall. Many thanks to Julian Gardner for his stone carving skills and artistic talent. 👌🏻 Alongside the house number we’ve had a carving done of the Lion and the Lamb atop Helm Crag, which has been one of our favourite Wainwright walks done as a family. The slate used came out of a fireplace that was removed from a job, bullnosing strips to create a surround for the nameplate.
