Sustainability at Fendt: Stronger Together Through Active Inclusion
For us, sustainability also means bringing people along, opening up opportunities for them, and growing together. That is why we have maintained a special partnership with the Wertachtal Werkstätten since the 1980s. There, people with disabilities who are unable - or not yet able - to work in the general labor market manufacture over 500 parts for our tractors.
Since 2006, pre-assembled components for Fendt have been produced in a specially equipped department and then delivered directly to the assembly line on a just-in-time basis. In 2009, the Wertachtal Werkstätten also took over the inventory management and shipping of our brochures and promotional materials.
Inclusion also has a firm place beyond Marktoberdorf:
Since 2019, Lebenshilfe Braunschweig has been responsible for the landscaping of our facilities at the Wolfenbüttel site, enriching our daily work with their dedication.
