Meet Andy Booth, Sales & Operations Manager at Scanprobe!

Andy plays an important part in bringing our sales and day-to-day operations together, helping to make sure everything runs smoothly from the first conversation through to delivery and ongoing support.

With a strong understanding of our equipment and what drainage professionals need on site, Andy is always ready to listen, answer questions and offer practical, straightforward advice.

He knows that no two customers or jobs are the same. It isn’t about simply selling a system, it’s about understanding what someone needs, helping them choose the right equipment and making sure they continue to feel supported afterwards.

The technology looks very different, but the reason we build it hasn’t changed...

These photographs capture different chapters in Scanprobe’s story, from Jon working hands-on with some of our earliest inspection equipment to later generations of Scanprobe systems being used out on site.

A lot has changed since then.

Our capabilities have grown from camera systems built to solve the challenges of their time into a complete inspection range covering pushrods, crawlers, pole cameras and in-house WRc-approved reporting software.

But our progress isn’t measured only by the products we have developed.

It’s also measured by the knowledge we have gained along the way: understanding what equipment must withstand on site, how operators actually work and which seemingly small details can make a significant difference when time is against you.

That knowledge has been built through decades of designing, testing, listening and working alongside drainage professionals. It continues to shape every system we develop today.

We’re proud of how far Scanprobe has come, but we’re even more excited about where we’re going.

Continuing to expand our capabilities, deepen our industry knowledge and create better ways for inspection teams to connect, inspect and share.

If you’ve been around the drainage industry for a while, there’s a good chance you’ve met this man 👋

Meet Mr Jon Barry, Managing Director of Scanprobe.

Jon has worked his way up from the ground, gaining years of first-hand experience and a genuine understanding of the challenges our customers face every day.

For Jon, business has always been personal. It isn’t simply about selling someone a piece of equipment, it’s about giving honest advice, providing something they can depend on and being there to support them when they need it.

That straightforward, customer-first approach has helped shape Scanprobe into the company it is today.

Despite the title, Jon remains as approachable as ever. Whether you know him from an industry event, a product demonstration or a conversation over the phone, he’s always happy to stop for a chat and help wherever he can.

A pushrod can show you through a pipe, but what if you need to inspect a large chamber, pit or tunnel?

Last week, we joined Wessex Water at the Devizes Tunnel to demonstrate the X-Range Pole Camera on a live asset.

Using its 2K QHD camera, 30x optical zoom and 8-metre telescopic pole, the XPC gave the team a clear, detailed view of the infrastructure below, all from surface level and without the need for entry!
