Little update on were we are at.
After last weeks weather and other commitments we was only in ash for 1 day. Lost yesterday because of the rain. But still on schedule. Even with a cheeky mid week fish 🎣

Block work is up to plate, brick work is up to lintel level and a bit more on one side. Roof joists are in and one ladder out. Concrete base is down ready for insulation. and screed. Windows and doors are ordered and being made.

Generally happy with the progress made over the 3 weeks on this one.

Brick work to finish tomorrow, soffits and fascia ready for roof coverings next week.

A few little ones squeezed in for Fineline Plumbing & Gas LTD keeping them boys happy with their own jobs.

Another good couple of days out in ash on our extension. Battling the weather on both mornings again.

Progress over the last 2 days.
Yesterday wasn’t exactly a full day due to dad duties doing the school drop off and pick up. But we made progress.
Today was nearly a wash out after the rain fall this morning but we stood our ground and got it done.

Excited to see this one go up this week.

Soakaway dug this afternoon. Skip dropped off and site cleaned ready for delivery’s Monday morning.
Flying on this one.
Lads are absolutely beasting this one out. Been another very good productive day.

Nice busy morning for us. Grab hire in and out by 8. Concrete and pump in and out by 10. 💪🏻
Just waiting for our skip to turn up for a good site clean up.
Can’t wait to start laying this out Monday morning.
Hoping to have this up to plate height by the end of next week. 👀

Great team of lads all round getting the jobs done in no time.

Two and a half working days and by hand we’ve dug the new footings. 💪🏻

When I said the concrete was thick I wasn’t joking. (See picture)

Grab lorry in tomorrow, concrete lorry and pump in tomorrow, skip dropped tomorrow. It’s going to be a busy day.

Well done to the lads today on the start of the extension in ash.
With our Broadstairs loft conversion coming to an end (just waiting on our metal plate for the spiral stairs) there’s no time to waste.
Conservatory down and disposed of, brickwork and block work down and disposed of. Started to gun up existing slab. (It’s thick!!)
Good amount of progress today however.
Unfortunately there’s no access for a digger so this one’s to be done by hand.

Stairs.. well.. there fun..
we got the stairs in place today dry fit. To say these are years old, never been put together by us until today, they have fitted pretty well. Not as well as I’d have liked but the customer is adamant they are staying even if they have to walk up from the wall 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

We need to replicate a base that matches the circle above now to allow them to be brought up by 65mm.
Watch this space.

Loft conversion update.
1 room ready for floor skirting and top coat.
1 room mist coated and prepped.
1 room drying.

Flooring turns up friday. We’re going to dry fit the spiral stair case this week for any adjustments that may be needed. Looking forward to getting to the end results soon.

A lovely little knock through we’ve completed this week. Removing part of the bedroom wall to make a bedroom/office. Two concrete lintels installed as per engineers design.
