We’ve been deciding what to do with some of our fire-damaged 5L drums…

Rather than sell them, which we just don’t feel comfortable doing, we’ve decided we’d much rather GIVE THEM AWAY to people who could genuinely benefit from them. 💛

We’re looking for 2 types of people:

🇬🇧 An ex-veteran who is now working in or starting out in the valeting/detailing industry.

🚗 A young person UNDER 20 who is starting their own valeting or detailing business and could use a helping hand getting going.

I don’t think we’ll ever be able to properly put into words how grateful we are. 🤍

When we first found out about the fire, it genuinely felt like one punch too many. We felt scared, completely overwhelmed and, for a little while, very alone in it all.

And then you lot showed up.

The messages, pre-orders, shares, offers of help and the sheer amount of people rooting for us have made us feel stronger than we have in days. You’ve reminded us that maybe we can pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and go again.

Thank you for supporting our crazy little dream over the years. Thank you for every order, every share and every person who has believed in Autoperfekt.

But most of all, from me personally — thank you for looking after Calum when times get tough. That means more to me than I could ever explain. 🥺🤍

We’ve got a long road ahead of us, but for the first time since the fire, it feels like we’re not walking it alone.

Since the fire, we’ve been completely overwhelmed by the amount of people asking us to set up a GoFundMe, offering us financial help and asking what they can do to help get us back on our feet.

The truth is, we really do need the help right now. But taking anyone’s hard-earned money and giving nothing back just didn’t sit right with us.

So instead, we’ve opened PREORDERS on our website.

If you’d like to support us, you can place an order as normal. There will be a wait while we rebuild our stock, order everything we need and get products poured, labelled and ready to go — so please bear with us. But every single preorder will help us take another step towards getting Autoperfekt back up and running.

And most importantly, you’ll still get something for your money. ❤️

Good morning guys!

Just a quick message to say how much we genuinely appreciate all the offers of help, messages and phone calls we’ve been getting from people wanting to come down and help us retrieve what we can from the workshop.

It’s honestly a miracle that we’ve even been given the opportunity to get back into the building and try to save anything at all. The building is being demolished very quickly, and Building Control, the Fire Brigade and Police have given us strict rules and regulations that we have to follow while we’re on site.

Everyone who is currently helping us has already been signed onto the site, and unfortunately we’re now at the maximum number of people we’re allowed to have in.

We’d absolutely love to just open the gates and let everyone muck in, but we really don’t want to risk losing the opportunity we’ve been given to retrieve what we can.

If you want to pop down, say hello and have a bit of craic with us, bring coffee, you’re more than welcome! We just unfortunately can’t allow anyone else past the gates.

A quick update from us at Autoperfekt after finally being allowed back into our workshop today.

Unfortunately, the reality is pretty devastating.

Pretty much all of the stock inside has either been destroyed or is beyond saving. Chemicals, bottles, merchandise, equipment — years of work and thousands of pounds worth of stock, gone.

But we’re not ready to give up on Autoperfekt.

If we’re going to rebuild and keep the business going, we’re going to need the support of our amazing customers and followers more than ever.

We don’t want to set up a GoFundMe or simply ask people for money. Instead, we’re working on something where anyone who wants to support us will actually get something back for their money. ❤️

We’ll share more on that very soon.

For now, a massive thank you to our incredible staff, our friends, every single person who has called, messaged or offered to help, and especially the Bowie for their unbelievable support through all of this.

It genuinely means more to us than you’ll ever know.

This has knocked us hard — but hopefully it’s not the end of Autoperfekt. 💛🖤

As many of you will have seen, there was a devastating fire at the building where Autoperfekt is based today.

Unfortunately, Autoperfekt has been significantly affected and, for the time being, we’ve had no choice but to close our doors.

Right now, we don’t know how long this will be for, or what the future looks like for us. Along with the other businesses in the building, we’ve been massively impacted, and we’re still trying to process what has happened.

It’s been no secret that this year has already been one of our most challenging yet, both as a family and as a business. Those of you who have followed us for a while will know just how much we’ve had thrown at us, so this has been another incredibly difficult blow to take.

We also want to send all our love to the other businesses affected by the fire. We know we’re not the only ones facing a huge amount of uncertainty right now, and our thoughts are with everyone impacted. ❤️

A huge thank you to the fire service for everything they have done, and to every single person who has messaged, called, offered help or simply sent us some kind words. The support we’ve received already means more than we can say.

We really appreciate everyone who has reached out offering financial support. At the moment, we haven’t made any decisions about what our next steps will be for Autoperfekt, but we are incredibly grateful for every offer of help.

And finally, thank you to every single person who has supported our small, family-run business throughout the years. Whether you’ve placed an order, recommended us, shared a post, visited us or supported us in any way — you’ve helped us build something that has meant so much to our family.

Morning everyone,

We are fully aware of the ongoing fire at Southcraig Avenue, where Autoperfekt HQ is located.

The emergency services have been outstanding and have been at the scene since the early hours of this morning working to bring the situation under control.

Our team are currently being inundated with calls and messages from people letting us know about the fire and offering their support. We genuinely appreciate everyone reaching out.

For now, we ask that you bear with us while the emergency services continue their work. We will provide an update as soon as we have more information.

Glasgow Road in Kilmarnock has been reopened following a fire as a premises within Rowallan Business Park.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 7.15am on Thursday, 3 September, 2026.

There are no reported injuries and enquiries are ongoing.

Residents in Craighall Bank, Craighall Crescent and Craighall Road, are asked to keep their windows closed.
