Week 2 Complete at the Norfolk Project for Smith Percy! 🎨

Another productive week on this stunning new build project in Norfolk.

✅ All bathrooms throughout the property are now fully decorated and ready for wallpaper installation.
✅ Walls and ceilings finished in Crown Clean Extreme Mould Resistant Brilliant White for a durable, high quality finish.
✅ All woodwork has been primed, undercoated and top-coated in bespoke colours to perfectly complement the chosen tiles and wallpapers.
✅ Walls behind future radiator positions have received their final coats, ready for installation next week.

Back to work after a short spell of paternity leave, thank you all for your lovely comments and patience! 👶🏼💙

Our first project back was in South Wootton, for a lovely couple I’ve worked for since I first started nearly 9 years ago. We originally decorated this room around 6 years ago in a light blue scheme and, although it had started to feel a little dated, it had held up really well over time.

The new colour scheme has completely transformed the space and we’re really pleased with the finished result 🙌🏼

The Cleanable Matt has been brilliant to use, super durable with a flawless finish and will now be our standard recommendation for high traffic areas 👌🏼

Here at YHI our team has grown.

The pre contract agreement is now being drawn up and will take a few weeks of meetings and discussions before anything else will be completed. I feel like this one is going to cost me.

With time at a premium, we slotted this one in and delivered a full refresh to bring these spaces back to life. 💫

We carried out full prep working, filling, sanding, and caulking.

• Ceiling: Brilliant White UltraFlat Matt
• Walls: Bracken Salts Durable Matt
• Woodwork: Aquaguard Brilliant White Eggshell

The downstairs loo was previously marked with water stains and scuffs from contract matt, we gave it the full treatment:

• Ceiling: UltraFlat Matt Brilliant White
• Walls: Selvidge (mixed into Cleanable Matt)
• Woodwork: Aquaguard Brilliant White Eggshell

Another happy home in King’s Lynn 🙌

We recently transformed a bedroom with a full redecoration. From stripping stubborn wallpaper to filling, sanding, and sealing, this one needed the full works! 🎨

Finished with a clean ceiling in Brilliant White Ultraflat Matt, walls in Parma Gray, and woodwork in Aquaguard Brilliant White… the result speaks for itself and paint is all courtesy of Johnstone's Decorating Centre! 🤝

The best part? The clients loved it so much they’ve already booked us in for more work 🏡🔥

A recent job over in Dersingham where we took a tired, old‑school staircase and all the downstairs woodwork and gave it a fresh, modern lift. Anyone who’s tackled this kind of work knows the prep is half the battle. We stain‑blocked with a shellac primer, followed with a tinted undercoat, then built it up with multiple top coats for long‑term durability. 💪

Spindles, handrail and hallway woodwork were finished in Egyptian Cotton mixed into Valspar Trade, with the rest of the downstairs completed in Johnstone's Decorating Centre Brilliant White Aquaguard. Clean, crisp and built to last.
