You’ll be working with modern CNC equipment on complex, high-precision components, with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills and take on new challenges.

There’s also 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, paid overtime at 1.5x and a growing order book keeping things busy.

Working on some new and exciting projects...👀

And as always, we’re getting involved early to make sure the designs are right for manufacture.

Our engineers can review a component, spot potential issues and suggest changes that could make it easier and more efficient to machine.

Using CAD/CAM, we can then plan the machining process before it reaches the shop floor, helping to keep production smooth and avoid those unwanted surprises.

Sharp edges and burrs aren’t doing anyone any favours. 🙅‍♂️

After machining, our vibratory finishing process removes burrs, breaks sharp edges and improves the surface finish, helping to bring components to the required standard.

And those finishing details have a real impact too - helping components fit together properly, preventing burrs from affecting mating surfaces and ensuring the finished part performs as intended.

A Friday treat for you all... a new JK component. ⚙️

This one’s a heat exchanger, machined from aluminium with some seriously fine internal fins and channels. They’re designed to maximise surface area, helping transfer heat efficiently while keeping the component compact.

Small features, tight machining and a pretty neat finished part.

A ( DMG MORI ) DMU 60 EVO doing what it does best. 👌

This 5-axis machine is currently putting in the work on the shop floor, machining complex components with the ability to reach multiple faces in a single setup.

No constant stopping to reposition the part, fewer setups and less handling - all helping to keep everything where it needs to be and maintain accuracy throughout the job.

Night shift suits you? We’re looking for a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join the team at JK Engineering. 🌙

You’ll be working on a mix of complex, high-precision components, setting and running CNC lathes.

That means proving out new parts, tweaking tools, offsets & datums and keeping a close eye on tolerances and quality throughout production.

We’re looking for a CNC Milling Setter / Operator to join the team, working on complex, high-spec components where the details matter.

You’ll be setting and operating CNC milling machinery, reading drawings and carrying out first-off inspections before production gets underway.

You can't measure precision with a guess. 🔎

That's why we've kitted out our inspection facility to properly scrutinise every component that comes through it.

We've got 5 CMMs for checking complex dimensions and tight tolerances, a laser scanner for capturing component geometry, and the equipment to measure surface finish and profile accuracy.

Basically, whatever level of detail a component needs, our inspection team has the tools to verify it.

We're looking for an experienced CNC Turner / Machinist to join the team, working on complex, high-precision components for sectors including motorsport, aerospace and robotics.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀:
• Setting machine datums and offsets
• Proving out new jobs from scratch
• Fine-tuning machines to achieve the required results
• Carrying out first-off inspections

You’ll need experience in subcontract precision engineering, a good understanding of CNC lathes and a focus on getting the job right first time.
