Suspended Ceiling Fixer / Interior Systems Installer
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and versatile Fixer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various trades, with expertise in interior systems, shop fitting, and joinery. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Fixer will be responsible for ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks meet high standards, contributing to the overall functionality and aesthetics of our projects.
Duties
• Install suspended ceilings and partition walls across various sites throughout the UK, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the course of work.
Experience
• Proven experience in a similar role or relevant trade is essential.
• Proficiency in suspended ceilings, interior systems, shop fitting, joinery, and
other construction-related skills is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with safely and effectively using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings with ease.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively in a team environment.
Requirements
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• CSCS card, IPAF, and PASMA certifications are desirable but not essential.
• Must be willing to work nationwide regularly.
• Must be confident working at heights.
