Another job out of the workshop this week.

A 5 metre totem sign frame manufactured for Greens the Signmakers ready for installation at a new Howdens branch.

The frame was fabricated in house from start to finish, including:
✔️ Cutting
✔️ Fabrication
✔️ Welding
✔️ Preparation
✔️ Red oxide primer ready for the next stage

This was our first project completed for Greens Signmakers and we’re pleased to say they were extremely impressed with the quality of the fabrication, welding and finish. We look forward to working with them again on future projects.

A nice structural job completed on this building in Hull for Neill Khan

Three timber lintels removed and replaced with structural steel, along with a new box frame to the front of the building. Access was tight, so everything was lifted into place with a contracted crane.

It’s always good working on older buildings and seeing them strengthened for many years to come. The last photo shows what the building looked like years ago.

X4 structural beams all 6 metres long, painted in red oxide and ready for our customer 🦾

We’ve been paying even more attention to the finer details lately, including adding our own DB Structural Fabrications Ltd logo onto finished steelwork before it leaves the workshop.

It’s a small touch, but it helps show the pride we take in our work and makes each job look that bit more professional.

Another batch of box section in the workshop ready for upcoming fabrication jobs 🦾

Our new Bomar 320 mitre cut saw has already made a big difference to the way we work, giving us the ability to cut accurate mitres in house when required and helping us keep jobs moving more efficiently.

Whether it’s frames, gates, structural steelwork or general fabrication, having the right equipment in place helps us improve turnaround times and keep lead times down for our customers.

We said we’d been busy… then got too busy to post again 😅

It’s been non stop in the workshop lately with structural steelwork, fabrication, welding and plasma cutting all going through the doors.

Our new Bomar 320 mitre cut saw is now fully up and running and has already made a massive difference, helping us cut lead times down considerably.

It’s been hard at work cutting structural beams for one of the many projects we currently have underway.

A big shoutout to Prosaw Limited as well, absolutely brilliant customer service from start to finish and a pleasure to deal with.

We’re continuing to invest in the right equipment to keep improving turnaround times and quality for our customers.

We’ve been a bit quiet on social media lately… but definitely not quiet behind the scenes!

The team at DB Structural Fabrications has been flat out supplying and delivering loads of structural beams far and wide for projects of all sizes.

All fabricated to BS EN 1090 Ex*****on Class 2, giving our customers confidence in the quality and compliance of the steelwork we supply.

We’re now back posting and looking forward to sharing more of what we’ve been working on.
