At Hobson & Porter we are delighted to share that OnSide Youth Zone Grimsby has been shortlisted in three categories at the RICS UK Awards 2026, Yorkshire & Humberside.

Our shortlisted categories are:
- Community Benefit
- Refurbishment / Revitalisation
- Heritage

This recognition reflects the dedication, collaboration and hard work from everyone involved in delivering this fantastic and inspiring project, creating a lasting, positive impact for the local community and safeguarding Grimsby’s heritage.

A month ago today, the annual Rotary Disability Games took place and what a fantastic
event it was! It was a brilliant day made special by everyone who took part, brought
energy to the event and helped create such an inspiring atmosphere.
A huge well done to everyone involved in making the games such a success. We were

Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 💚

This week, we’re supporting Mental Health Awareness Week and highlighting the importance of wellbeing across our team and the construction industry.
At Hobson & Porter, we’re proud to have trained Mental Health First Aiders within the business — helping to create a supportive, positive environment both on and off site. 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

We’re also proud to support The Lighthouse Charity, a charity dedicated to the emotional, physical and financial wellbeing of construction workers and their families. Their vital support services help those in our industry access the help they need when they need it most. 💚

This week is all about raising awareness, breaking the stigma, and reminding our team that support is always there. 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️
