While carrying out work in the area, one of our engineers came across this fascinating piece of Scottish history.

This Pictish symbol stone has stood for over 1,000 years and is thought to be one of the finest and best preserved examples still standing close to its original location. The symbols carved into the stone, including a serpent, double disc and Z-rod, mirror, and comb, remain a mystery to this day.

It’s not every day you find yourself working alongside a piece of ancient Scotland! 👷‍♂️⚡🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
