We wanted to take a moment to thank our amazing customers!

We moved to a new booking and payment system in December - it was a lot of work, and we definitely had a few teething issues, but it's now up and running and working well.

Thank you to everyone who has moved over with us.

The good news is it's now very easy to book and pay for storage containers, rooms ,garages or units.

This is a memory of a happy day at Fruix.
Andrew and Alastair enjoying a cup of tea with their Dad, George, and Uncle Tom.
Andrew and Alastair are the third generation of the Turnbull family to farm here. In 1996, when we got married, we moved into the farmhouse and George settled into the arches beside us. George was a fabulous support to us when the kids were growing up, and he continued to help on the farm until a few years ago. His favourite job was combining, ploughing would be a close second, he was also the sprayer man and dried the grain for many years. George always looked forward to the swallows returning each spring and he also loved people. I think Andrew inherited his love of chatting and getting to know people from him. He passed away on Tuesday, here is the announcement from the family. 💕 xx

Peacefully at Craigieknowes Care Home, Perth, on Tuesday 2nd December 2025, George Baird of Fruix Farm, Kinross, aged 88 years, devoted and loving partner of Sheena, loving Dad of Andrew, Alastair, Gillian and Rosemary, much loved Grandpa to Kay, Charlie, Fraser, Megan, William, Scott, Tom, Suzannah, Rosie, Alex and Emma, dear brother to Tom and Jane and the late Jim and Jessie. Good friend to many. 💙

🌻 Planning a visit to the sunflower field tomorrow?

Here is everything you need to know before you set off. Find details on parking, facilities and a few handy tips so you can relax and enjoy the day.

How do we find you?

Parking is available in the field next to the sunflowers. When heading from the M90 along the B9097 towards Cleish the first right is the road to the farm and the second right is entrance to park for entering the sunflower field. Please do not head to the farm as there is no parking available.

Will there be toilet facilities?

Yes, there is a portaloo on site.

Will there be food and drink?

Yes, there will be a tuck shop with a small selection of food and drink. Feel free to bring your own picnic and enjoy a snack in the outdoors.

Are dogs allowed?

Well behaved dogs are permitted but must remain on a short lead at all times. You must pick up behind your dog & dispose of in our bins on site.

Are wellies required?

We are on a working farm - depending on how the weather plays it might get muddy so dress appropriately for the weather conditions! It is in a field on a working farm after all.

Do you accept cash & card?

Cash payments are preferred but there are card facilities too. We would encourage you to bring loose change to help speed things up at the checkouts if using cash.
