We would like to take this opportunity to inform all our customers, that from 17th April 2020, we will no longer be trading as Coal Merchants.

This is due to retirement, and although it is a decision we haven’t made easily, we feel it is now time to move on to another chapter in our lives.

We have put a lot of time and effort into making the business what it is today, and we hope we have served you as well as we possibly could have.

We have got to know many of you personally over the years, and we wanted to let you know our intentions to close the business.

We will still be supplying fuels up until the 17th April, but we advise customers to plan ahead accordingly. After this date, no more fuels will be sold.

From the management and staff at Syson’s, we thank you dearly for your custom. It’s been an absolute pleasure to provide you with our services, and wish you all the best for the future.

Bookings are now being taken for our Chimney Sweeping service!

This service runs from 1st May to 31st October, giving our customers plenty of time to ensure that their stoves/appliances are ready for the winter burning season.

2018 was our busiest year yet, with many customers missing out on appointments because they didn’t book in time.
