At Northern Turbine Services we have a vast knowledge and industry experience of a variety of micro-generation

turbines. We offer a range of services from:

• Servicing and maintenance on existing turbines.
• Upgrades and improvements to your current system.
• Repair and overhaul of turbines in our workshop.
• Blade repair and rebalancing.
• Turbine base repair.
• Installing new and refurbished turbines.

We aim to ensure that your turbine is serviced thoroughly and with care. We pride ourselves on being responsive, efficient and always using genuine spare parts. We are completely independent and not associated to any turbine manufacturer. We do not share your details with any third parties.

We're ready and all set up! Keep an eye out for the NTS Flags and pop over for a chat!
We will have on display a variety of refurbished small wind turbines and a new BestWatt 45kw Wind Turbine on display in collaboration with Rengineers, as well as information on energy export prices to help you make the most out of your turbine. For those of you with precision and CNC machining requirements, we'll also have a stand showcasing our sister company Rousay Engineering Services.
We will be open all day, questions & enquiries are welcome!

We're almost ready! We will be attending both days of the Turriff Show, this Sunday the 2nd and Monday the 3rd of August. We are located along Burnside Avenue, keep an eye out for the NTS Flags!

North Walls Community School Visit! 👫

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming the delightful pupils from North Walls School to our workshop here in Orkney.

During their visit, they enjoyed a guided tour of our workshops, where Adrian explained the mechanics of a turbine head and how it plays a vital role in generating clean, sustainable power and some the the machinery required to help in the servicing and maintenance of turbines.

The students came armed with loads thoughtful and interesting questions, some of which certainly put Adrian’s knowledge to the test! This made for a lively and rewarding visit for everyone involved.

It was inspiring to see such genuine enthusiasm from the young folk of our future.

They enjoyed it so much, we even got a card to say thank you! - which is currently sitting pride of place as you come in our office.

If any other schools or groups are interested in arranging a visit, please get in touch, as we’re always happy to welcome you!
