Folks, now we have hit "that" season again, we are getting a number of calls indicating their air-to-air heat pump is "playing up" - if you find your units closing down and the green light is flashing, this usually indicates that the outdoor unit is simply defrosting itself and needs to run through its defrost process.
Give it the 20 min rule - do not switch the units off, they should come back on as normal in around 15 to 20 mins.
If they do not, double check that they are all on "heat" only mode, switch them off and then back on again and 95 times out of 100 all will be good. I highly recommend that you take your units off any timer you have them on, and run them 24hrs during this cold snap.
Should the timer light be flashing however, that is the time to give us a call or DM - 01856 870029.

Old NIBE unit out and a new Panasonic K series split system installed - with an all in one indoor module that incorporates the hot water cylinder.

Added addition of a SystemAir MVHR unit which are manufactured to fit on top of the panasonic all in one. Perfect space saving solution 🔧

Job completed this week on board the Safe Caledonia accommodation vessel in the Flow.

Replacing 3 of their old 9-14kw units in the High Voltage room with two new Panasonic Ecoi ceiling splits, and utilising a Mitsubishi Heavy industries unit that was already onboard to help keep it cool during the summer months☀️.

We also installed a new 5kw split in one of their server rooms to keep it cool 24/7 ❄️. All completed in time for the rig to head out in Summer.

Delighted to get this completed and looking so good after the work gone in to the planning.
