That’s our Plockton project ready for taping and filing to start next week, delighted to get to this stage, we plan to tie up a few outside jobs over the next couple of weeks and then get cracking on with the 2nd fix works and final for out, aiming for handover in June 🤞. Really chuffed with the work from the lads on this, and the sun room extension is up, slated and almost fully clad and adds a great space to the back of the house we think

This one in Kyle was definitely one of our most time consuming kitchen installs. It started out as an insurance remedial job as there had been a leak under the floor. Our client decided to take the chance to install a whole new kitchen and t&g herring bone flooring though the kitchen and down the hallway with new skirtings etc. it’s a Howdens kitchen with a few bespoke details. Ben and David were the lads on this jobs and it’s turned out lovely

A job we completed on Friday in Torrin, the house suffered roof damage during storm Amy. The external repairs were done by others, we then stripped back the damaged areas inside, re insulated and plaster boarded, we organised the electrical works to be done by JG electrical, plastering by Mitch Roseblade and decorating by Justin MacPherson, we tidied up the 2nd fix joinery and fitted and new kitchen for our client, the joinery works were done alongside KM Joinery

Another wee byre renovation, this one in Sallachy lost its roof during storm Amy, anthracite sheets on this one and seriously well tied down 😉, the stonework was given a going over by the lads from Oliver Macrae stonemasonry before we started

Absolutely delighted with how our Plockton renovation project is going, the building has been fully stripped back, all structural issues addressed and repaired, new openings formed within the house to form a more open plan living space, new opening formed to give access to a new sun room extension at the back, roof repairs as per the engineers plans and complete new leadwork and slating, inside we have laid the new concrete subfloor, almost completed the 1st fix joinery ready for plasterboarding to get started, 1st fix plumbing and electrics are going in, new windows are being installed, and new external drainage and water supply which means we can now get going with the foundations for the new extension, our wee micro digger is perfect for these tight spaces, we are aiming for competition and hand over to our client around early June. I’m delighted with how all the lads are getting on with this project, and thanks again to our subcontractors, the lads from Gmac builders, JG Electrical, Graham Plumbing and Heating and Wyvis roofing

This is a living room extension and new porch we have been back and fore to recently in Kyleakin , that’s the roofs going on so we can get back soon to crack on inside, there’s a lot of alterations to the existing house layout

Well that’s us on holiday now until the 7th of January, it’s been really busy year and we have managed to complete lots of jobs we are really pleased with, it’s all down to the lads and the subcontractors we work with, so big thanks to you all. Also to all of our customers, thank you very much for the work, there are one or 2 jobs we didn’t get to before the holidays as the recent poor weather meant some outside jobs were pushed back, but you will be on the cards for early next year.
This is a kitchen replacement we finished today in Achmore, just in time for the Christmas dinner, cheers all

We completed this reroof of a barn in Ardelve last week, we had the scaffolding up for 3 or 4 weeks waiting for a weather window which just wasn’t coming, so we had to bite the bullet and get it done before the holidays, absolutely delighted with how it’s turned out and with the effort from the lads through some horrible weather

This is a garage conversion we finished in Reraig today, the original garage had been built tall to accommodate a camper van, we stripped out the OSB linings and converted it into a highly insulated and self contained accommodation unit for our clients family to use.

What a day to be scaffolding and offloading trusses 😂⛈️. Job and knock for us boys, Iain and David don’t know how lucky they have it reinstating a water damaged kitchen in their T- Shirts 😉

A tale of opposites this week, lots of wetwall, kitchens and 2nd fix joinery for the teams at Reraig and Duirnish, while the lads at our renovation project in Plockton are lowering floor levels ready for concrete subfloor and underfloor heating build up and getting the back roof ready to strip next week for timber remedial works ahead of the roofers coming back to site to do the new leadwork and slating.
