Our team of Rangers are ready for more Dinomite weekends at Castlebank Park, Lanark

🦖 JURASSIC LANARK IS COMING BACK! 🦕
Bigger. Bolder. More ROARSOME than ever before!
Dinosaurs are stomping back into Lanark this summer from 19 June – 9 August, and YOU are invited to join the ultimate prehistoric adventure! 🌿
This year, we’ve got not ONE… not TWO… but THREE dino-mite FREE trails featuring 35 giant dinosaurs across Lanark and beyond!
🦕 MONSTER TRAIL
Explore Lanark town centre and Castlebank Park as you hunt down giant prehistoric creatures hiding around every corner.
🦖 MINI TRAIL
Perfect for younger dino hunters – spot mini dinos in shop windows throughout the town centre.
Complete either trail (or BOTH!) to earn your exclusive Jurassic Lanark Badge! Trails run daily from 19 June – 9 August.
🌍 NEW FOR 2026 – THE EXPLORER TRAIL!
Launching from 4 July, continue your dinosaur adventure beyond the town centre to:

What a fabulous night for Team Santa lastnight. Best Elves in town.

Hundreds of kids, the weather played ball and you couldn’t have had a more festive night if you tried. The new lights at the Tolbooth looked stunning 🤩

We will be back on Saturday the 6th between 11-3pm thanks Discover Lanark for having us back to help.

We’re all set for a spectacular Illuminated Lanimer Parade this Friday evening (28 November) as part of Late Night Lanark — and it’s shaping up to be absolutely magical!

🌟 The Lanimer Lorries are BACK and brighter than ever!
Look out for your favourites, all lit up in dazzling style:
🐾 Kilninnie with “A Paw-some Peruvian Adventure”
🏴 Burgh Belles with “Alba Gu Brath”
😈 New Order with “Disnae Villains”

Plus a whole host of fantastic groups lighting up the night, including Pebble Patch & Friends, St Mary’s Primary, Lanark & District Young Farmers, Kirkfield United FC, The Lanark Lanimer Committee, The Bowrie Gang, The Broons & Lanark Panto Club, 1st Lanark Boys’ Brigade & Girls’ Association, Lanark Lord Cornets Club — and of course… SANTA himself! 🎅

🎶 Adding to the festive atmosphere, enjoy wonderful seasonal music from Lanark & District Pipe Band and Coalburn Silver Band plus added colour from our fabulous Snow Angel and LED Juggler!

📍 Parade Route:
Setting off from Ladyacre Road and Bannatyne Street at 6:30pm, the parade will head down the High Street before looping back up the other side. Come early, stay late, and soak up the magic!
