Double garage nearing completion in Ambleside.
We managed to build this one without any plans, with only the size and dimensions planning had granted as a guide. Initially, it was going to be a bespoke timber framed construction supplied and erected by another firm but the client decided they wanted a more solid structure so we opted for an internal leaf of blockwork cladded with oak and faced with local stone.

A revamp of a tired looking spiral stairway.
Under stairs cupboard was removed to open it up, and the existing blockwork was chiselled back to form a symmetrical column which we finished of in a sand and cement render. The rest of the stairway and balcony was cladded in reclaimed timber from an old ship.
