RCR Services We are a small family run business of builders and joiners operating in Bolton Le Sands and throughout the Morecambe Bay area of Lancashire.

We are one of the few fully approved Velux installers in the northwest, which also makes us unique amongst Lancaster builders . We have had to meet a range of requirements and demonstrate that our work is up to an exceptionally high ongoing standard.

So it’s nearly a week since we were told to stop work, in my mind that’s long enough to get that crucial job finished and made safe. If unlike me you are lucky enough to have your kids with you at home why not use this time to spend time with them because when it all comes back on line we will be flat out and prob working weekends.
Who thinks it’s reasonable to start shopping those who are ignoring the government rules ? Then let’s see whose customers come back to them after it all ?
Stay at home, stay safe and let’s do this thing. Rant over, time for a Friday beer, cheers guys and gals 🍻

Don’t usually have a rant but as a self employed builder not able to get any assistance from the government I feel I need to.
I have contacted my customers and let them know I will not be working for at least the next three weeks. I would expect all my fellow colleagues / friends to be doing the same. If your current project leaves somebody at risk then patch it up and get out ASAP. The only way to stop this thing is to isolate. Those people who feel it is their right to work then why not give your time up to digging some graves ! Our customers will be loyal to us so let’s be loyal to them and not spread anything.
