Somerset Charcuterie Traditional artisan methods of curing meats with a West Country twist We use mainly Saddleback and Gloucester Old Spot pigs - all free range and locally reared.

At Somerset Charcuterie we believe in embracing traditional Italian and Spanish methods combined with some of the fantastic flavours and rich food culture of the West Country. The result is a range of great tasting meat products unlike anything you have tasted before. Where possible we are using other local ingredients and our cider, sage, cheese, honey, hazelnuts and wild garlic all comes from under 10 miles from the farm.

We're thrilled to have scooped up two 2-star awards and two 1-star awards at this year's Great Taste Awards!

The judges described our Black Pepper & Garlic Salami as "a great example of British charcuterie", while our Mutton, Rosemary & Garlic Salami was praised as "a unique British product" with beautifully balanced flavour.

These awards are a real celebration of everything we believe in: exceptional free-range meat, carefully chosen ingredients, traditional curing methods and, above all, patience.
