Feorge Plant & Fabrication Ltd will close its doors for the very last time today.
A business established in 1989 by my dad, providing outstanding steel fabrication and plant machinery servicing to companies across Somerset and throughout the country, is coming to an end as Mum and Dad begin their well-earned retirement.

Starting a business in uncertain times while raising a young family was no small achievement. The dedication you and Mum have shown to building and growing the company, while always being present for your family, is a testament to the incredible parents and people you are.

You have worked tirelessly to ensure the success of a business that has survived two recessions, a global pandemic, and numerous floods over the years. The service you provided was always bespoke and delivered to the highest standard, and I’m sure your customers will miss you greatly.

As employers, you have been exceptional — treating your staff like family and creating a workplace where people truly felt part of a community. There’s no doubt you will be deeply missed by them too.

Your business has always been built on strong values: generosity, hard work, loyalty, and integrity. You should both be immensely proud of everything you have achieved over the last 30+ years. We certainly are proud of you.

So, as the doors close today, remember the incredible business you built, the relationships you created, and the example you set for your family and everyone around you. You are both an inspiration, and we couldn’t be more proud.
Here’s to your next chapter — one filled with happiness, relaxation, and all the things you’ve worked so hard for.

In-house Tekla modelling delivering high accuracy on projects however big or small.

A great way to start the New Year! We successfully delivered a structural steel house extension project at the end of December, just in time for Christmas.

This was a full-package job, covering site survey, Tekla modelling, supply, fabrication, and delivery. The customer even managed to get the steels erected himself over the Christmas break.

Proud to share the full journey of this bespoke spine staircase — designed in-house, fully fabricated by our team, and installed on-site.

We’ve just received photos of the finished staircase complete with glass and treads, and it’s amazing to see the vision come to life.
