Meet Lee Dunn — our longest standing employee and one of the people who has been part of the journey right from the very beginning.

Lee is also Shaun’s brother, so to be honest… we’re surprised they’ve both lasted this long without killing each other 😂

But over the years they’ve built a strong working relationship and helped grow SD Plumbing & Heating from a small local business into the company it is today.

Spinning all the plates in business can be difficult and it’s easy to drop one now and again. That’s exactly what I done this year.

Trying to do too much, getting pulled in too many directions and slowly losing grip on what really matters. I got to a point where I felt like I had to stop mucking around, roll my sleeves up and get right back in about it to get things moving the way I wanted them to again.

The reality is, when you grow a business the pressure never stops. You can’t take your eye off the ball for too long because small cracks quickly turn into big problems.

I finally feel like we’ve got ourselves back to where we should be and now it’s about building momentum, tightening things up even more and not losing focus again.

Meet Graham — the man behind the scenes keeping everything running smoothly at SD Plumbing & Heating.

From keeping the day-to-day operations organised to making sure our systems and processes are followed correctly, Graham plays a huge part in the growth of the business.

As we continue to scale, having strong people in the right positions becomes more important than ever, and Graham is a massive part of that. Keeping jobs moving, supporting the team, and helping maintain the standards we set for ourselves and our customers every single day.

Fantastic day helping out at the Dalkeith Rugby Football Club mini festival. Everyone done a brilliant job from start to finish.

400 burgers later and we somehow made it through the queue of hungry kids 😂

Days like this show what community clubs are all about. Great atmosphere, great people and good to give something back.
