Though it’s been a while since we shared a project update, our incredible Heron team have been busier than ever powering up new build and commercial sites with solar PV!⚡️🔋

One project being in , where we added a 30kW AC controller and 96.7kWh of battery storage to complement the 66kW solar PV system we’d previously installed for our commercial client.

Things we love to see! 💛🌳☀️⚡️

The recent fine weather has proven that our solar panels, which were installed last Autumn, are doing a great job! 😁

Since installation we’ve generated over 8.5 megawatts of ‘green’ power, saving over 1,660kg of CO2 emissions, which is the equivalent of planting 100 trees!

Huge thanks to Thorner Community Fund, who provided significant funding to make the project a reality, to Heron Electrical for the installation and to Thorner Net Zero Partnership for their support.

Our work to reduce our environmental impact is not over... Watch this space! 🌳☀️⚡️🌏

• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing
• 2+ years’ roofing experience
• CSCS card
• Solar PV installation experience advantageous

• Installing Solar PV as part of a in-house team
• Large (1MW+) and small scale commercial projects

A first-class day at ! 🏇🍾

Our directors, David and Ben, have had an unforgettable day at Cheltenham Races, thanks to the incredible hospitality of our good friends at Segen.

With Dom Pérignon flowing freely and a six-course feast crafted by the amazing Clare Smyth (who has three Michelin stars!) in the Core on Course hospitality—it was a race day to remember.
